Anthony Grose

Senior Pastor

Welcome to the inspiring journey of Pastor Anthony Grose. He was born and raised in Antioch, California. He has been blessed with two daughters, Paige and Nicole, who were born prior to him trusting in Jesus Christ.  At the age of 30, Pastor Anthony experienced a radical encounter with Jesus at his home in Antioch, leading him to leave his old life behind. He embraced a new life, dedicating himself to deep biblical study and commitment to healing and transformation.

For the past 25 years, Pastor Anthony has been a passionate preacher of the gospel and a dedicated teacher of God’s word.  In 2007, Pastor Anthony married his wonderful wife, Maryjane, who shared the same commitment to serving the Lord.

Following a layoff from his 12-year role as a construction supervisor during the 2010 recession, he founded Anthony Grose Kingdom Work Ministries, a registered evangelism organization. Pastor Anthony embarked on teaching Bible studies and leading street evangelism in challenging neighborhoods, including those with a history of violence. He also taught Bible studies in convalescent homes.

Beyond local outreach, Kingdom Work Ministries has been actively sharing the gospel both in the USA and internationally. In 2016, Pastor Anthony authored an Evangelism Guidebook, reaching five continents and even being translated into the Zulu language for the South African audience.

The organization’s international mission work is now predominantly focused on the province of Andhra Pradesh in India, impacting thousands of unbelievers, particularly remote tribal communities. Pastor Anthony’s dedication to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ has made a significant impact, with Kingdom Work Ministries serving as a beacon of hope.

In 2017, a divine appointment with a member of Brentwood Lighthouse Baptist Church led to a partnership in local outreach. By fall 2019, Pastor Anthony found himself preaching the Word of God at the church, eventually becoming the Senior Pastor by the end of 2022. Simultaneously, he pursued ordination as a Baptist preacher, achieving this milestone in December 2022. As both Senior Pastor of Brentwood Lighthouse Baptist Church and as CEO of Anthony Grose Kingdom Work Ministries, Anthony is dedicated to serving the Lord as he ministers to the Brentwood and surrounding communities, fostering biblical truth, hope, fellowship, and spiritual growth
